One more day...

Final touches...introducing Bryan Harter: drill master, accountant (you didn't think we were going to read the point of sale manual when we could be researching yarn and fabric did you?), tech guru, and JP Knit & Stitch's not so silent fourth and very important partner. Shh...he's a lot taller in person.

We had a little help tearing down the paper from our front door this evening. Anyone so inclined can peek in and see the store in all its dark glory...

We couldn't open without test driving our system...Carol is making a lovely lavender baby blanket for a very lucky newborn. Stay tuned for the finished product.

And, we'll see you tomorrow!

  3. I peeked in this evening on my way between Tres Gatos (too crowded) and Canary Square (try the new mushroom toast) - it looks great! Can't wait to stop in!

  5. Ooh, you know what I just thought of that I'd love to see carried in an LYS - those Ravelry name buttons. I think you can order them off the site in giant bags so I've never done it since I just need one but it'd be an awesome thing to find locally.

  6. I had the wonderful experience of helping staff practice their check out skills the other day. With no effort and clearly showing little restraint, I came home with yarn for 3 projects and material to make my granddaughter a dress. I didn't even have material on my radar screen when I walked in the door but the choices were so compelling I could not resist. When you go mMake sure you check out the yarn bomb outside the front door!
