More small and medium sized helpers...

Zana and Nadia organizing buttons...

Jillian is working on our window sign (we're all about the handmade at JP Knit & Stitch)...

..and Eliza and Avery are coloring it in...(yes, Eliza, the purple is perfect!)...

...and a sneak peak at JP Knit & Stitch's recycled bags with our sticker logo (printed at the local JP printer, Red Sun Press)...thanks Flora, Eliza, Willa, and Avery...

Hi, I literally live right down the road and have been interested in learning to knit. I have tried to learn before, but no one has been able to teach me :( When will you open?

I have very fond memories of sorting the buttons at my mother's dress shop when I was a small helper. I'm so excited that you're coming to JP!

Pat Boyd | The Lifelong Crafter

Pat has been knitting, sewing, and quilting for over 50 years. She has designed and created complex quilts, wall hangings, sweaters, and socks too numerous to count. She is also a spiritual director and a board member of the Bethany House of Prayer in Arlington, MA.

Jennifer Boyd | The Knitter

Jennifer knit her first pair of mittens when she was ten and she now designs and knits fashionable garments and accessories for herself, her friends, and her family. She has a masters degree in maternal and child health from Harvard University and has experience designing curricula for afterschool programs and working with children. After going through intense treatment for breast cancer, Jennifer decided to focus on her passion for knitting and her desire to share it with her community.

Genevieve Day | The Sewer

Genevieve sewed her first wraparound skirt at age eleven and has been sewing ever since. She has worked as an editor for many years until she quit her day job to look after her three children full time. Her current passion includes collecting Japanese and vintage fabrics and making dresses and shifts, small quilts, and wall hangings.
